Business Development, Mergers and Acquisitions team members work closely with our business platforms and regions to establish opportunities for expansion through investments.

They promote the investment capabilities of Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) and our range of activities to existing and potential partners, and also play a role representing our business to industry players.

They support potential mergers and acquisitions activity and help structure new business transactions, working closely with our business leaders and financial and legal teams.

Areas of opportunity

  • Execution of the Group’s business plan in terms of CAPEX deployment, including origination, structuring and negotiation of transactions.
  • Building relationships with partners and customers and working with them to create new business opportunities.
  • Developing new geographies and assessing the opportunities they provide to grow the business.
  • Sourcing new assets that will increase our market presence and help us protect commodity flows.
  • Internal evaluation of investment opportunities to determine the benefits they will bring to LDC.
