About our products

Louis Dreyfus Company commercializes a range of seed products under the brand Macro Seed, fomerly LDC Semillas. Each variety of seed has particular strengths ranging from high yield potential, as well as stability in varying environments, weather conditions and productive zones.

Our sales network

Our sales network is present throughout Argentina’s agricultural areas. We also have presence in other countries in the region by way of locally based subsidiaries.

Product varieties

Macro Seeds varieties are the result of years of research and development in order to increase crop productivity while promoting a sustainable use of natural resources.

LDC 3.7

3.7 is excellent for the core zone, perfectly adapted to high technology.

LDC 3.8 STS

3.8 is the new option of group III – long, with the ability to achieve maximum yield potential. It is also characterized by its excellent performance in the second planting.

LDC 4.5

4.5  is a variety that provides great stability within the group IV Long.

LDC 4.7

4.7 is a strain with the ability to ensure high performance and stability within the group IV long. It is also characterized by its excellent performance in the second planting.

LDC 5.3

5.3 is perfect for places with low-medium activity.

LDC 5.6

5.6 is an indeterminate variety which excels in both yield and stability in all environments. Very good grain quality and high temperature uniform ripening.

LDC 5.9 STS

5.9 is a variety with excellent yield potential by increasing our product range in this cycle.

LDC 6.0 

6.0 is a variety with high potential and stability within the group IV, in high activity places.

LDC 6.9

6.9 is an excellent choice for lots Very Good to Good. Excellent performance to beat. Outstanding weight of 1000 seeds.
